This is an example page. It differs from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will appear in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an “About” page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m so-and-so, a member of the Legislative Council, and this is my website. I live in Hong Kong, have a big dog named Carrie Lam, and I like to take a Zen approach to things.

…or something like this:

So-and-so Company was founded in 1971, and since its establishment, we have been contributing excellent doohickies to society. Our company is headquartered in the Hong Kong Government Headquarters, has more than two thousand employees, and makes a huge contribution to Hong Kong government tax revenue.

As a new WordPress user, you should immediately go to your dashboard, delete this page, and then create a new page to start your own content. Go for it!
